WEST Australian Travis Meyer completed a family double at the Australian Open Road Cycling Championships at Buninyong today.
He took out the road race to add to his brother Cameron's win in the elite men's time trial on Wednesday.
David Kemp (Queensland) was silver medallist, while Ballarat's Damien Turner rode the race of his life to snare the bronze medal.
Turner also took out The Courier King of the Mountain title in a day to remember.
All three were part of race-long breakaway.

AT 10KM (bell lap):
The championship is down to a four-way battle - Ballarat's Damien Turner, Travis Meyer, David Kemp and Russell Van Hout.
AT 120KM (two laps returning):
Lead group remains at five: Damien Turner, Travis Meyer, Hayden Brooks, David Kemp, Russell Van Hout.
They lead the peleton by more than minutes.
Ballarat's Jay Bourke is in the main chase group of Jack Bobridge, David Pell, William Clarke, John Anderson, Bernard Sulzberger.
AT 130KM (3 laps remaining):
Lead group is down to five: Damien Turner, Travis Meyer, Hayden Brooks, David Kemp, Russell Van Hout.
They lead the peleton by five minutes.
However, there is a threatening group just 3:10 of the pace featuring the dangerous Jack Bobridge, David Pell, Williams Clarke, John Anderson and Bernard Sulzberger.
Ballarat's Jay Bourke has slipped out of the lead group for the first time after an impressive ride on the front of the race.
RACE SUMMARY UP TO 120KM:
AS LAP AFTER LAP passes in excessive heat.
With 50km (five laps) to go the race pattern starts to change dramatically.
A lead group of eight, including Ballarat duo Jay Bourke and Damien Turner, remains intact.
There is now (40km remaining) though a chase group of nine riders, including Ballarat's Patrick Shaw which has got away from the peleton and moved within four minutes of the leaders.
The big guns such as Michael Rogers, Cameron Meyer, Matt Lloyd and reigning champion Peter McDonald are only another minute away.
Turner is for the second year in a row is proving unstopping in his pursuit of The Courier King of the Mountain title.
He has claimed the maximum points in the championship and has his second consecutive title secure.
Bourke continues to make his presence felt in the lead group, where he has been since the outset.
The lead was out to almost seven minutes with six laps or 60km remaining.
Shaw attacked from the peleton after about 80km in an attempt to cross the gap.
However, he could not rally enough support to stay away.
The lead reached five minutes after just four laps.
Ballarat Cycle City’s Chris Steffanoni from Mt Macedon was on own between lead bunchy and peleton for several laps.
The lead group includes Travis Meyer (WA), David Kemp (Queensland), 2006 national road race champion Russell Van Hout (SA), Hayden Brooks (Qld), Brendan Jones (NSW) and Cameron Peterson (NSW) as well as Turner and Bourke.
The the first big news of the 163.2km event was the withdrawal of Tour de France star Robbie McEwen.
He struggled to get to the line in the criterium championship in Ballarat on Thursday night.
He pulled out mid-race - putting him doubt for today's assignment for which he did not get to the starting line.
