Ballarat bus service axed

Uncertainty remains over the Snake Valley to Ballarat route, which will be reassessed while seven other routes in the region – including the Mt Edgerton to Ballarat service – will be continued.
Ballarat East MP Geoff Howard said Trentham residents would be hurt by the decision. Mr Howard said he was “very disappointed” to see the service to Kyneton scrapped, and pensioners and others would be disadvantaged by the cuts.
