CHILDREN at the Ballarat Child Care Co-operative were treated to a visit from cartoon cult hero, Ben  10, yesterday.Ben 10 was a hit among the kids as he posed for photos, gave high fives and was paraded around the school by the students.Callan Slater, whose son, Lucas, 4, is a massive Ben 10 fan, said her son was extremely excited when he heard about the special visit.“He was beside himself, he actually left kinder early to see him,” Ms Slater said. “He loves Ben and he sends good messages of sharing and helping each other so I don’t mind either.”Centre co-ordinator, Sue Hepworth, said the children cheered when they found out Ben 10 was coming, and that several were already copying Ben’s tricks. The childcare co-operative visit comes ahead of the Cartoon Network’s BEN 10 Live: Time Machine show, which will be performed in Ballarat on April  18.The brand new show will feature characters from all three TV series, including favourites Gwen 10 and Grandpa Max.The show will be held at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat.
