A 10-YEAR-old boy has died after being hit by a truck in Creswick this morning.The boy was riding his bike to school via a cousin's house when the accident happened.It is believed his grandmother was following behind him in a car ensure he arrived safely. Witnesses tried to revive the child at the scene before ambulance officers arrived but were unable to to do.Police said the boy died at the scene.The accident happened at 8.30am on the Midland Highway.The truck driver was not injured and was this morning speaking to police investigating the accident.
