His son Cody was Ballarat's only Father's Day baby up until 10pm yesterday..

Born at Ballarat Health Services Base Hospital, Cody came into the world at 12.11pm after a 24-hour labour.

"I said to Leigh on Saturday night Cody would probably be here on Father's Day," proud mum Jenny Moore said.

"I think he's a pretty good present."

Cody - who was three days overdue - weighed in at seven pounds, six ounces (3.5kg).

He is already the pride and joy of his big brother, three-year-old Rowan.

"He loves it (having a brother)," Ms Moore said.
