FIRE is burning out of control near Beaufort.
The fire has burnt about 10 hectares of land about 15km north-west of Beaufort.
The fire started from a planned Department of Sustainability and Environment burn at Buangor.
The fire is burning in the Buangor-Ferntree Waterfalls Rd area.

Residents from Beaufort and surrounding towns have been advised that smoke will be visible.
Firefighters are battling the blaze on the ground and in the air.
