ANIMAL welfare groups added grunt to their campaign to ban sow stalls during a demonstration in Ballarat this week.
Campaign mascot `Daisy', pictured, took up temporary residence in Sturt St to raise awareness about the plight of pigs bred in sow stalls.
The Ballarat Organisation for Animal Rights then presented signed postcards to Ballarat East MLA Geoff Howard, who is also Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture.
