24 Nov, 2009 11:45 PM
A MAN who bought heroin for himself and another man, who died from an overdose of the drug, has pleaded guilty.

Daniel Mark Bausch pleaded guilty in Ballarat Magistrates Court to five charges including trafficking, possessing and using heroin and possessing and using cannabis.

The court was told Bausch, 36, of Warrenheip, acted as a go between by accepting money from the man who asked him to buy the heroin on the night of July 28.

The man died in a Brewery Tap Motel room after injecting himself with the heroin.

Bausch's hearing was adjourned until February 16.
