Invermay Park man charged after airport drug bust

08 Sep, 2010 04:18 PM
A 37-YEAR-OLD Invermay Park man will face a string of

drugs charges in the Ballarat Magistrates Court next month.

Mathew Hedt was arrested by federal police on Monday at Tullamarine Airport and charged with trafficking and possessing a drug of dependence.

Police believe the drug may be cocaine.

Hedt was also charged with three counts of possessing cannabis.

He declined to comment when asked if he would defend the charges. Hedt was bailed in an out of sessions court hearing earlier this week. He is due to appear in the

Ballarat Magistrates Court on October 11.
