POLICE have charged a 47-year-old man with various child pornography offences, after allegedly discovering more than 2000 child pornography images on his computers.
The 47-year-old was arrested in Ballarat yesterday, after investigators from the Ballarat Sexual Offences and Child Investigation Team, the Sexual Crime Squad, Internet Child Exploitation Team and E-Crime Squad executed a search warrant in the Central Goldfields area just after 2pm, seizing laptops and hard drives.
The 47-year-old has been bailed to appear at Maryborough Magistrates' Court on May 15.
