Mt Clear bushfire guilty plea

ONE of two boys charged over a 31-hectare bushfire in Mt Clear on New Year's Eve has pleaded guilty.The 12-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, this morning pleaded guilty to one count each of criminal damage by arson and recklessly causing a bushfire.He will return to court on May 10 for a pre-sentence report.The second boy, 11, will appear in a Children's Court on April 16 for a further mention.He faces one count each of intentionally causing a bushfire and intentionally destroying property.
