THE Bureau of Meteorology has warned of damaging wind, flash flooding and large hail for a wide area across Victoria, including Ballarat, over the coming hours.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
Keep clear of fallen power linesSecure any loose objects in the vicinity of your homeKeep away from creeks and drainsDo not drive vehicles through flooded areasStay indoors if possibleAvoid using the phone during the stormIf you are outside, avoid sheltering under treesListen to the radio for storm updatesSwitch off your computer and electrical appliancesSend us your weather photos
