ST John of God Hospital's brand new doors will slide open to the public on Monday.
Patients and visitors will access the $65 million hospital from Drummond St Nth from 9am, with last minute touches being added to carparking and landscaping in recent days.
The spacious and light-filled reception will also be in operation, while the new chapel will have a commissioning ceremony at 3.30pm on Monday.
St John of God Hospital chief executive officer John Fogarty said everyone had been working overtime for Monday's opening deadline.
"Technically, it's the end of the redevelopment and the start of a new beginning for us," Mr Fogarty said.
He said the spacious front foyer and reception area created a real sense of "warmth, openness and hospitality".
"There's plenty of circulation space for patients and visitors and easy access to the radiology department.
"The chapel is right at the front of the building, with easy access off-front reception.
"I think we've really created a nice public area with the cafe and gift shop as well."
New carparks will also be available at the Drummond St Nth entrance, taking the total number of available hospital carparks to 526.
The old hospital, built in 1953, was demolished earlier this year. The new modern facility opened to patients in February, with access mainly from Mair St and a temporary Drummond St Nth entrance.
The reception area, chapel, carparks and landscaping were the project's final stages.
"We're now up and running," Mr Fogarty said.
An official commissioning ceremony will be held on Thursday.
A 36-page publication on the St John of God hospital redevelopment will feature in The Courier on Thursday.
