POLICE have released the images of two teenagers wanted after a purse was stolen from a Stockland Wendouree store.
The theft occurred on Wednesday, December 29 last year.
The victim, a shop assistant at a fashion store in the centre, placed her purse under the front counter before it closed at 7pm.
Police say a man and woman entered the store, with the woman distracting the shop assistant while the man took the handbag from under the counter and left the store.
The woman left the store soon after without making a purchase and before the assistant noticed her handbag was missing.
In a statement from Victoria Police today, the man is described as being aged in his late teens, tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, black t-shirt and black baseball cap.
The woman is described as being aged in her late teens with shoulder length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white singlet.
