A CELEBRATION concert featuring some of Ballarat's finest artists will be held at Her Majesty's Theatre next month.

Made In Ballarat will take place on Sunday, July 10 at 2pm to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Ballarat Arts Foundation.

Over the past five years, the foundation has helped to sponsor more than 90 young people achieve their dreams.

Next month's concert will see many of them return to Ballarat to perform alongside the Ballarat Symphony Orchestra.

Performers include opera singer Roger Lemke, saxophone player Martin Hemingway and organist Liz Hanton.

Musical director Graeme Vendy said all monies raised on the day will help to sponsor more of the city's budding young talent.

Mr Vendy cited opera singer Jason Wasley, who is also due to perform at next month's concert, as one of the foundation's recent success stories.

"I think it is important to show talented young people in Ballarat that they have support, and the foundation does have a strong philosophy in helping young people."

Tickets for the concert cost $20, $18 (concession) and $16 (group) with concessions for society members and students.

Telephone MajesTix on 5333 5888 to book.
