Trapped in Haddon car crash

A WOMAN remained in a stable condition in hospital last night with a fractured leg after crashing her vehicle into a powerpole at Haddon.

The woman was trapped in her vehicle after hitting the pole near Wilson Rd shortly before 3pm.

Smythesdale police and an ambulance rescue unit attended the scene and helped free the woman.

Smythesdale police are investigating the cause of the accident.
