Two trapped after crash

TWO people were trapped for nearly three hours after a head-on crash near Lismore last night.

The accident happened about 5pm on the Hamilton Hwy at Berrybank.

Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said a man, 30, suffered chest injuries and a broken arm.

A woman had serious leg and pelvic injuries.

They were freed from the wreckage at 8pm and flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
