North Ballarat is through to a preliminary final after defeating Williamstown by 20 points in a qualifying final Ballarat on Sunday.

Carngham-Linton is the LPFL premier for a record third consecutive year.

The Saints powered over the top of Skipton with a five goals to one last quarter to secure the flag by six points.

Down by 16 points at the last change, Carngham-Linton levelled the scores at the 16-minute mark and hit the lead three minutes later.

Skipton led by as much as 28 points going into time-on in the second term.

Carngham-Linton is the first team in the 10 years of the LPFL to win three premierships in a row.

It also gave the Saints three football premierships for the day.

Carngham-Linton completed a massive day by also claiming the senior netball premiership.

The Devils overcame an inaccurate Ballarat by 17 points in the second semi-final at Darley on Saturday.

Ballarat will now meet East Point in the preliminary final.

East Point ended Lake Wendouree's premiership aspirations with a 27-point win in the first semi-final at the Eastern Oval on Saturday.

North Ballarat will make a late change to its line-up to face Williamstown in a qualifying final in Ballarat on Sunday.

Gavin Urquhart will be replaced after lining up with North Melbourne in Sydney on Saturday night.

He is likely to be replaced by either Cruize Garlett or Robbie Tarrant, who were dropped by the Roosters for the final.
