TICKETS for this year's Meredith Music Festival sold out within an hour at Karova Lounge yesterday.By the time the tickets went on sale at 9am, the queue of around 150 people lined Field St and stretched into Camp St.Among those dedicated fans were countless school students, university students, and devoted parents.Loreto College student Brighde Keating was first in line to score the highly sought after tickets.Together with four schoolmates and a swag of blankets, the 17-year-old set up camp outside Karova Lounge at 1am yesterday.At 10am, tears and the odd swear word followed the news the supply of tickets had run dry.The Courier believes the Ballarat venue was allocated less than 150 tickets for the festival.Karova Lounge's Shaun Adams said the event continued to grow in popularity each year.The 18th Meredith Music Festival will be held from December 12 to 14 at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre.
