AFL: Ballarat hosts second North Melbourne intra-club match

12 Feb, 2010 04:11 PM
NORTH Melbourne topped off its preparation for the AFL NAB Cup with an intensive intra-club practice match in front of a 500-strong crowd at Ballarat's Eureka Stadium today.

Speedy forward Matt Campbell was among the better performed Kangaroos in a hit-out in which new coach

Brad Scott pitted his ''A'' team against a ''B'' line-up.

It is North Melbourne's last full-scale match practice before facing Geelong in the opening round of the pre-season competition on Sunday, February 21.

Ben Warren, Cruize Garlett, Leigh Harding, Liam Anthony and Drew Petrie were among other players to get a good share of the football.
