THE Ballarat Cricket Association's top young stars were recognised at the annual best and fairest vote count yesterday.
Awards were given to top vote-getters across the six grades of junior competition ahead of grand finals this weekend.
North Ballarat's Matt Crouch was named under-16 Gold's best performed after polling 17 votes to finish three clear of Brown Hill's Jack Wilson.

Taylor Stewart from Golden Point took home the under-16 Green honours by two votes from VRI Delacombe's Alex Wallis.
The all-rounder was prolific with both bat and ball during the home and away season and posted two centuries.
Napoleons-Sebastopol produced two under-14 winners, with Bradley McDonald and Joshua Wells claiming honours in Gold and Green divisions respectively.
Mt Clear's Dominic Flynn won the under-14 Blue award, while East Ballarat Red girl Jenna Bruton was judged the top player in the under-14 Green (Red) competition.
The vote-count and presentation was held at St Patrick's College.
