NORTH Melbourne will launch a new Ballarat-specific membership package for the 2012 AFL season at its community camp in the city on Monday.
The Kangaroos will make the announcement at a civic reception, which is the first official function of the two-day camp.
North Melbourne sees membership packages custom-made for Ballarat football followers as the next phase in the development of its ties with the region.
Using the “Eureka” theme to package the offers, the country memberships will cover a variety of North Melbourne home matches at Etihad Stadium, possibly ranging up to 11 fixtures.
This is the Kangaroos’ fourth community camp in Ballarat in as many years.
With coach Brad Scott, his coaching staff, and the entire player list, including new captain Andrew Swallow, attending, the two days will include a variety of school visits and clinics and community visits.
They will also play a full-scale intra-club practice match at Eureka Stadium on Tuesday at 5.30pm.
