SEBASTOPOL remains on track to secure the Ballarat and District Soccer Association minor premiership after beating North 4-1 on Sunday.
Suffering from a number of injuries, the Vikings' depth continues to be tested, meaning the weekend's result is even more concerning for opposition teams.
Four players managed to etch their names on the scoresheet as Sebastopol opened with goals from Anton Maggi and Justin Robson, before North's Mitch Hammond cut the margin to 2-1 at half-time.
But goals from Michael Busija and Victor Santo secured the three points midway through the second half to help the Vikings open up a gap on the rest of the competition.
Sebastopol dropped its first points of the season with a 1-1 draw to Ballarat, but has remained relatively untroubled throughout the early part of 2010.
PHIL Odour was in the goals again as Vic Park defeated Warrnambool, 2-0.
Odour scored his second brace in as many weeks with the only goals of the game.
Meanwhile, goals from Daniel Hendriks and Kossivi Akakpo propelled Ballarat to a 2-0 win over Forest Rangers.
It could have been a much different story for Forest had they converted two penalty opportunities in the second half, but a miss and a save by the Junior Devils' goalkeeper staved off the challenge.
Ballarat had a goal disallowed for offside late in the match.
