 Moloney ruled out

Moloney ruled out

17/05/2008 1:24:00 AM
NORTH Ballarat captain Shaune Moloney has been ruled out of tomorrow's clash with Northern Bullants in the Victorian Football League.

Moloney will miss a second match with a corked leg.

He suffered the injury against Williamstown on April 27 and despite two weeks on the sidelines, including a team break as part of a split round, is still not right.

Coach Gerard FitzGerald said yesterday that Moloney had not come up.

The Selkirk Roosters were desperately keen get regain Moloney to help counter the Bullants' marking power in attack.

Carlton provided some relief in the area when it called up Cain Ackland, but the Bullants have traditionally troubled North Ballarat with their height.

FitzGerald did not even wait for training last night to declare Moloney out.
