ARCH-rival Bendigo out-classed Ballarat Cricket Association in the annual Turner-Hollioake Shield matches across the region on Sunday.
Ballarat's under-17s was the only senior team to claim victory in the meet with an eight-run win against quality Bendigo opposition at Ballarat Grammar.
District batsmen Jarrod Graham (Ballan) and Mitch Clark (Lucas) dominated with the bat.
Graham chalked-up 98 (8 fours) and Clark 85 (1 six, 7 fours) and combined to form a mammoth 186-run partnership.
Opening left-arm bowler Harry Christie (East Ballarat) broke the game open with text-book line and length.
Christie took 1-3 off his first six-over spell and finished with 2-29 off 10.
Ballarat's under-15s was the association's sole junior winner with a five-wicket victory at Northern Oval.
Oliver Hayes starred early with the ball, picking up 4-10 and three maidens off 6.1 overs. Opening batsman Jacob Eyres, 47 runs, and number five Jayden Edwards, 45, took charge.
Promising under-12 opening batsman Harlei Givvens also impressed with the bat, notching up an unbeaten 51 runs (retired) in his team's 27-run loss at Ballarat High School.
