BANNOCKBURN trainer Geoff Webster will have three starters in the group one $125,000 PETstock Ballarat Pacing Cup, 2710 metres, on Saturday night.
Webster will line up last year's Ballarat Pacing Cup winner Mister Swinger, last-start South Australian Cup winner Mister Zion and Tear It All Away.
Mister Zion has drawn the pole.
Bendigo Pacing Cup winner Sammy Maguire also drew well in four for Melton trainer Graeme Lang and driver Gavin Lang.
The field also features Inter-Dominion champion Mr Feelgood, two-time Miracle Mile winner Be Good Johnny and New Zealander Our Awesome Armbro.
Ballarat pacer Make Waves, trained by Russell Cook, is emergency.
Melton trainer Lance Justice this morning announced that his star Smoken Up would not start in Ballarat.
He said he was not prepared to risk getting a 10m penalty for the AG Hunter Cup a week later - a likely scenario if he won the Ballarat Pacing Cup.
