Birthday Boy drawn to put out the light

Birthday Boy drawn to put out the light

Dancing Lights is the one to beat in the second leg of the TriStar Series.

With the Bendigo Young Star Classic already under her belt, Dancing Lights will earn a $10,000 bonus if successful at Morshead Park.

This will also keep her in the running for the $20,000 bonus being offered to any dog which completes a clean sweep of the TriStar Series, with the Geelong leg still to be run.

Birthday Boy was lucky to get into the field.

He had to be satisfied with being second to Nikayla Storm in a heat, but being run in the fastest time of 25.04 seconds meant Birthday Boy landed a second chance.

He is ideally drawn in eight.

A winner of four of his eight starts, Birthday Boy has won from box seven three times and from eight on one occasion.

And he did win in Ballarat in a brilliant 25.04 back in May to put him in special company.

Invisiting Me is the other major chance from box one.

He has won his past two in Ballarat and if he can hold the lead will be tough to run down.

The final is race eight at 9.12pm.
