EAST POINT has been hit hard with injuries as it prepares to meet an in-form Melton South in the RegionalOne Ballarat Football League at Melton tomorrow.
From their first win last week, the Kangaroos have added four senior players to an unenviable injury list.
Joining the list are centre-half back Paul Koderenko (broken hand), Jason Delaney (ankle), Martin Anderson (groin), and Dane Bergman (groin).
Injured backmen Jacob Fraser, Ryan Kent, and Keiran Drum are yet to play a game.
The unbeaten Panthers go into the match with an unchanged line-up.
Both Lake Wendouree and Darley have also suffered major blows ahead of an Eastern Oval blockbuster tomorrow.
The Lakers will do battle minus ball-winner Les Hughes (soreness) and Josh Carracher, who fractured the fibula of his left leg last week.
The Devils have been forced to replace play-maker Bryan McGrath, suspended for one match at the tribunal on Tuesday for striking Adam Richardson of Daylesford.
It is believed Cameron McLeod will miss many weeks with a severely damaged shoulder.
Key backman David Jambor (ill) will leave a hole in the Darley defence.
Lake Wendouree coach Darrin Findlay yesterday said his forwards should have the advantage.
"I would like to think our midfield is better than their midfield and hopefully we can push the ball forward more often because their backline could be their flaw," he said.
The match has been relocated to the Eastern Oval due to the drought-affected Wendouree Reserve.
Both Redan and Daylesford have remained unchanged.
The Demons will look for their first win against the unbeaten Lions in the VCFL WorkSafe Game of the Month at City Oval on Sunday.
Sebastopol was left wounded after its first win in almost two years.
Injuries to midfielder Todd Cook (shoulder) and full forward Clint Cooper (knee) have sidelined them for the clash with Melton at City Oval tomorrow.
The clash has been transferred from Marty Busch Reserve.
Melton defender Jarrod Edwards was this week rubbed out one match for striking Marcus Kellett of Melton South.
Ballarat will regain a swarm of top players for its encounter with Sunbury at the Eastern Oval on Sunday.
Matt Battistello and marking forward Gareth Hall are among those coming back for the match switched from Alfredton Oval.
