As a member of one of these garden clubs, I believe we are deliberately being cut out of the loop when it comes to usage of the centre and its facilities.
Uneasily I find council offices are being constructed within the building and council personnel are moving in.
The whole aim of the Clark bequest was for the betterment and promotion of gardening in this city.
Ballarat Botanical Gardens is known far and wide as historic and significant.
Council has sneakily moved in to the Clark Centre as if this was one of its office blocks.
There is now an office area off limits to garden clubs which used to be accessible to all.
I hope to hear condemnation from the community and swift action from our new councillors to rectify this travesty.
