Pedro, the school’s panda and cheeky mascot, is leading the charge and stirring up lots of fun.
“I’m looking forward most to dunk the teacher,” grade 3/4 pupil Nicholas Kattula said.
While the dunking machine will be an attraction, the school fair is leaving no stone unturned with an animal farm, Harley Davidson rides, talent competitions, arts and craft stalls, secondhand books and car boot sales.
Some stalls will have a Chinese flair to tie in with the school’s language program, headlined by Pedro and his angelic twin brother Peter.
Kate Brophy, 10, said her class had been busy building bird houses, deceptively based on milk cartons, with tin work and beading for decoration.
Kate said future stars will be on show in Mt Clear Idol which was also a must.
“People have already been performing for Mt Clear Idol auditions on the oval and there’s going to be lots of songs and dance,” she said.
Money raised from the event will be used to develop the school’s kitchen garden and iconic schoolyard tram development which is part of the school’s active learning program.
Panda-monium will hit Mt Clear primary on Saturday, November 24.
