On writing this letter I do not wish to offend the Catholic followers.
My letter is directed to the Catholic organisation.
I, like many others, believe that many of the past and present leading clergies in the Catholic organisation directly involved or covering up paedophile priests should be charged with aiding and abetting in these horrendous crimes.
Is it any wonder people are leaving the church. The Catholic church knew of these despicable acts and yet still protected these low-lifes and, in doing this, the Catholic organisation showed utter contempt and total lack of compassion for these young people affected.
I hope, like many, that the royal commission uncovers and brings these evil people who have done barbaric acts to justice.
The Catholic church was once looked upon as a sanctuary; the ultimate position of trust.
I doubt whether they will ever be thought of in that way again.
