Tahlia’s grandparents were among more than 300 special guests at Mt Pleasant Primary School for grandparents’ day last week.
Annette Ward, Tahlia’s nanna, said morning tea was amazing with “too much” on offer, including sandwiches, scones and cream, party pies and slices.
And all on offer was delicious.
Ms Ward has been involved at the school for more than 25 years, with her four children climbing the ranks, and now Tahlia following suit.
She said it was a lovely morning and enjoyed the chance to draw her hand outline alongside Tahlia’s for a classroom project.
Grandparents’ day followed the launch of the school’s art show with multiple pieces from students in all grades on show in a temporary gallery.
Pieces, made in art classes, included inspiration from excursions to Melbourne and fun “Blob Monsters” characters.
