A 25-year-old Burnside man has been hit with a series of charges including three counts of recklessly cause injury, one count of affray and two counts each of intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury and intentionally cause injury.
Police will allege the man stabbed two 19-year-old Ballarat men after a fight at the Lydiard Street taxi rank at 5am this morning.
One received stitches to his neck and the other was transported to the Royal Melbourne Hospital this afternoon for surgery on stab wounds on his back.
Police say the fight broke out after an altercation between two groups of males about 5am at the Lydiard Street taxi rank.
