East beat Learmonth 91-85 at Learmonth on Saturday.
Peter Wilson’s team won 23-17 against Michael Casey’s, Luke Whitehead’s four won 28-22 against David Kelly and Chris McDonald’s won 23-19 against Bill Shillito.
Dean’s rink went down 27-17 to Glenn Stowe.
Mt Xavier beat an under-strength BMS, 100-84, to maintain top spot. John Maher’s team beat Kevin McLean 33-16 and Beau Adams won 26-19 against David Schreenan. Jeff Ryan 27-20 beat Aaron Emonson and Cameron Bryce 22-21 defeated Mick Storey.
Ballarat had a four rinks to nil, 109-83 away win against City Oval. Andrew Dalgleish’s team beat Mitch Walton 32-23, Peter Hopkins defeated Wayne Roberts 29-22, Paul Ashmore won 32-18 against Heath Fumberger, and Wayne Fitzgerald won 25-20 against John Peddlesden.
Webbcona defeated Buninyong 101-89, with Garry van Kessel (28-14) and Harold Worsley’s (31-18) rinks up. Graeme Simpson (26-21) and Keith Chapman (31-21) scored for the visitors.
Smeaton beat Victoria at home 94-93. Bill Leishman (21-15) and Jim Taylor (30-21) won for Smeaton, while Tony Lange (30-26) and Bob Whitcher 30-26) scored for the visitors.
