Frankston line passengers will have to endure delays this evening as buses are replacing trains between Cheltenham and Mordialloc.

The replacement is due to a person being hit by a train. Metro says 30 buses have been ordered but it will take time for the buses to arrive due to peak hour traffic on the roads.
It says that the bus replacements will run for the entire evening peak.
Comment is being sought from Metro as to when normal services may resume.
