Zookeepers at Monarto Zoo in South Australia have delivered a sleigh load of Christmas presents to the zoo's troop of chimpanzees.

The brightly coloured paper mache Christmas presents were filled with festive treats fit for, well, a chimp.
For the group’s youngest member, Zuri, this is her first Christmas celebration and marks a milestone in her development, according to primate zookeeper, Jon Allon.
“Zuri’s hit a few milestones recently," he said.
"She’s standing on her own now and is trying to crawl away from mum, Zombi. Zombi is still quite protective and always has a firm grasp on her as she begins to explore her surroundings and the other chimps."
