Ratepayers from Miners Rest were against the building of this facility because of its close proximity to housing and I'd imagine it's the same today.
Since that meeting, there has been no community consultation and the chosen site has
been kept quiet .
I cannot understand why this facility cannot be built a further five minutes out to the west if they want it in this vicinity.
New house owners in Miners Rest have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on their new homes and I bet they weren't told about this facility being built, it will/does stink.
