Few details are available of the city-bound incident so far but Metro Trains have confirmed that all 24 passengers were not injured and all have been evacuated from the carriages. Buses will replace trains between Ringwood and Lilydale station until further notice. Metro Trains are currently on the scene, with the derailment believed to be heat-related.
