Joel Henderson, 39, of Wendouree and Darren Wilson, 35, of Ballarat, appeared in Ballarat Magistrates Court this morning.
Both are charged with one count of murder, following the death of the Scarsdale teenager at 5am on Saturday morning.
The pair appeared together in court, where Magistrate Peter Couzens remanded them in custody until a committal mention on June 20.
Prosecutors requested an extension to the usual period before a committal mention, due to the complexity of the case and the need to conduct further interviews and gather more evidence.
