LOOKING for a way to keep cool and teach your kids invaluable life lessons?
Then why not register your children for free swimming lessons at the Brown Hill Pool?
Sponsored by the Brown Hill Uniting Church, the free swimming lessons will run for the rest of this week.
The two-week program started last week but there are still slots available for children between the ages of four and 12 to enter this week. Pool manager Abbey Steggall said there had been about 50 children already participate in the program, but welcomed further registrations.
“It’s important that kids are safe around water and this is the best way to learn,” she said.
“It’s a real community pool and a great spot to swim.”
There are two instructors on hand each day and lessons run between 9am and noon each day.
