The gold coin donation concert raised hundreds of dollars for the appeal with more than 150 people in attendance.
The choir have been in Ballarat on a week-long training camp, which ended with the performance at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts.
The choir’s artistic director Noel Ancell said it was a good chance to ask the community to make a donation and give something back to those affected.
The concert included the cream of the repertoire the boys have been working on including gems from Bach to Britten. Anyone wanting to donate can do so at any Bendigo Bank branch.
