POLICE caught two teenagers who allegedly stole a car and robbed a bottle shop overnight.
Two 14-year-old Ballarat boys allegedly stole a Ford Laser from Latrobe Street last night and drove it to a bottle shop in East Ballarat in the early hours of this morning.
After allegedly stealing alcohol from the On The Rocks Bottle Shop next to the Queens Head Hotel in Humffray Street, the pair then drove the car into the CBD.
They were caught by police in the Bridge Mall area about 2.30am.
Police say the vehicle was damaged.
One of the offenders has been charged and is expected to appear in a Children's Court today.
