Last night more than 100 people lined up outside Target's Ballarat store braving chilly conditions as they waited to grab the best deal possible.

Police received no extra calls about the unusual influx of people into the Doveton Street footpath, but that didn't stop dozens of motorists slowing down for a sticky-beak.
A Target spokeswoman said the sales were a big success.
"We're very pleased with customer feedback and the response to the sales so far," she said.
