WAUBRA’S premiership ruckman George Russell will play his first game of 2012 tomorrow.
Russell has been sidelined for the first half of the season with a back injury, but has been named to start on the interchange bench for the Roos’ clash with Rokewood-Corindhap.
Waubra coach Shane Skontra said Russell’s back had been right for the past five or six weeks, but the club had wanted to give him time to build fitness ahead of a return.
Russell is one of three inclusions for the visitors, who will also welcome back interleague representative Ash Whelan from a groin injury.
Rokewood-Corindhap is fronting from a 73-point loss to Springbank at the weekend.
The Grasshoppers have made two changes to that team, with Joel Riske and Shaun Carroll coming into the line-up.
PREDICTION: Waubra comfortably.
