A 28-YEAR-old man has been airlifted to Melbourne's The Alfred hospital after an accident at MaxiTrans early this morning.
The accident occurred at the Learmonth Road manufacturer shortly after 5am this morning.
Rural Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the man received abdominal and chest injuries, as well as a fractured ankle.
"He was airlifted from the scene to Melbourne in a stable condition," Mr Mullen said.
WorkSafe was notified a short time later and spokesman Michael Birt said they would investigate the circumstances of the accident.
