BALLARAT Miners fans will get their first chance to watch highly-touted new import Reggie Larry in action tomorrow night.
Miners acting coach Grant Spencer this afternoon confirmed Larry, who arrives from NBA D-League club Idaho Stampede, had been settling into the team well after his short introduction and South East Australian Basketball League debut in Mt Gambier last week.
Spencer said it had been a balancing act in managing player training intensity, mid-way through the season, and in building match practice for Larry with his new teammates.
But he said it was already evident Larry had a "high basketball IQ" and was quickly adapting to Miners' structures.
The Ballarat Holden Miners and Ballarat Auslec Rush host Sandringham at the Minerdome tomorrow night.
