NORTH Ballarat Roosters will tonight defend midfielder Ben Cunnington on a tripping charge at the Victorian Football League tribunal.
The North Melbourne-listed Cunnington was cited yesterday on a video review of Sunday's North Ballarat-Williamstown clash.
Cunnington was best on ground in the Roosters' seven-point win, notching up 34 disposals, four goals and 10 tackles at Burbank Oval.
He was pushing for a recall for North Melbourne's match against West Coast Eagles in Perth on Saturday.
