BALLARAT Football League is planning to induct five new members to its Hall of Fame in August.
An existing Hall of Fame member will also be elevated to "legend" status at a gala event on Monday, August 27.
This will be the BFL's third Hall of Fame induction, with it having been launched in 2008.
West Coast Eagles and Collingwood premiership coach Mick Malthouse will be guest of honour at the event.
St Kilda recruited Malthouse from North Ballarat in the BFL.
He went on to be a premiership player with Richmond in a 175-game VFL/AFL career and took on Footscray as his first coaching assignment.
