A 32-YEAR-OLD man is being treated at Ballarat Health Services Base Hospital tonight after a reported stabbing in Ballarat North.
The man is in a serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating the assault, and this afternoon searched an area near the Ballarat Ten Pin Bowling Centre in Doveton Street North, for a weapon that may have been used.
They interviewed a number of witnesses out the front of the centre.
