V/Line should be made more accountable

I am extremely angry and disappointed at the lack of service provision by V/line this evening with the 6.08 train from Southern Cross station to Ballarat.

The train was extremely overcrowded after V/line had been advertising that the service would accommodate for extra passengers.

I booked my tickets online on Friday evening for myself and my two young children and was offered the choice of reserving seats on this particular service only to be told by staff once on the overcrowded train that it was too bad and my children and I could stand or sit in the floor.

V/line has a terrible habit of providing sub-standard services to their passengers and they should be made more accountable.
